Book mail is the best mail!
The amazon book exchange that I am participating in has already knocked my socks off in terms of special arrivals in the mailbox! The two books above arrived yesterday via the mail carrier and I couldn’t be more excited to start reading these!
Side note: If you are interested in participating in the Amazon book exchange- click here for details and let’s get started!
Both of the books pictured above are books from my “New and Notable” wish list. Check out the details for each book below.
1. “Party of Two” written by Jasmine Guillory
“Dating is the last thing on Olivia Monroe’s mind when she moves to LA to start her own law firm. But when she meets a gorgeous man at a hotel bar and they spend the entire night flirting, she discovers too late that he is none other than hotshot junior senator Max Powell. Olivia has zero interest in dating a politician, but when a cake arrives at her office with the cutest message, she can’t resist—it is chocolate cake, after all… Olivia knows what she has with Max is something special, but is it strong enough to survive the heat of the spotlight?” (Amazon)
2. “All Boys Aren’t Blue” written by George M. Johnson
“In a series of personal essays, prominent journalist and LGBTQIA+ activist George M. Johnson explores his childhood, adolescence, and college years in New Jersey and Virginia. From the memories of getting his teeth kicked out by bullies at age five, to flea marketing with his loving grandmother, to his first sexual relationships, this young-adult memoir weaves together the trials and triumphs faced by Black queer boys.” (Amazon)
I am going to start by reading “All Boys Aren’t Blue” and I’ll be sure to share some feedback when I’m done! Hooray for book mail!
Happy Reading!
